Kisoro Uganda is located in the western Uganda near the border of Uganda and Rwanda, and it’s also near the border of Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo It’s the main town in Kisoro District. Lake mutanda
Lake Mutanda is one of the key points in Kisoro district, its located in south western Uganda. The 3 Volcanoes Muhabura, Sabyinyo and Gahinga can be seen from lake Mutanda.
The lake has many Islands and longtime ago some islands on this lake were used as punishment Islands most especially to girls who used to get pregnant before Marriage. On the boat cruise on this lake many Islands will be seen and other aquatic attraction are present hear.
The lake shore supports snakes, chameleon, monitor lizard and frog species. Mammals found here include the African clawless otter. And others.
