Primates tracking in Uganda is one of the common and the best activity in this country. Primates can be tracked whether it’s a budget trip, luxury trip in uganda and many more. Kibale National Park.

Budongo forest
Budongo forest is found near Murchison Falls National Park. It is known to be home to chimpanzees in their natural environment, the forest is also known for great trees like mahogany, some of them can still be seen in the forest.
Chimpanzee tracking is organized every day in this forest and the experience is spectacular. Other attractions in Budongo include butterflies, birds, trees and many others.
Ngamba Island
This is an island for orphaned chimpanzees. They are kept here after being saved from poaching and other bad acts done on these creatures. Since the island is small, the chimpanzees are supplemented with fruits and other eats. There are eating sessions for these primates where visitors can enjoy them properly on a raised platform.
The island can be accessed by boat. They are different types of boats to the island like speed boats and others. For those who prefer to spend a night there, it possible since there are accommodation facilities.
Other places where chimpanzees can be seen in Uganda are kalinzu forest, Bugoma forest, and kyambura gorge.

-For chimpanzee tracking in kibale national park and kyambura gorge, visitors need to have chimpanzees permits in advance, companies can purchase the permits for their visitors from Uganda wildlife Authority.
-Have good walking shoes when going for chimpanzee tracking like in kibale, kyambura, Budongo and others.
-In kibale, after finding chimpanzees, visitors spend 1hour enjoying the group by taking unforgettable photos and etc.
