Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

Your safari guide/ driver will meet you in Nairobi at 8 am with a 4×4 safari jeep. He will brief you shortly and then drive to Lake Naivasha along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will make a stopover for clear viewing and photographing – arriving at Lake Naivasha for a boat cruise to see Hippos, crocodiles, pelicans, cormorants, and antelopes grazing at the shores of Lake Naivasha.

Time permitting, you will visit the nearby Crescent Island for nature walk to see zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, and gazelles among others

On land, you have clear sights to see the rare Rothschild’s giraffe and Kenya’s largest population of black rhinos. Sometimes the park will treat us to views of lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Day 2: Morning game drive – Transfer to Masai Mara (3-4hrs drive)

We shall wake up for an early morning game viewing drive and thereafter, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive for lunch and then enjoy an afternoon game drive to see a variety of animals, birds, drainage features, relief features, and vegetation among others. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge, Fairmont Mara Safari Club.

Day 3: Full-day Masai Mara Game drive

June to October is a period for the Great Migration when animals migrate from Masai Mara in Kenya to Serengeti in Tanzania via the Mara River.  You will witness an endless wildebeest, zebras, and gazelle, steaming into the park over the Mara River.

Day 4: Drive back to Nairobi after Morning Game drive

Wake up early for a morning game drive to see a variety of animals and thereafter drive back to Nairobi for your departure flight.
