It’s an all-National Park tour in Rwanda. Tourists will visit Akagera National Park, Volcanoes National Park and Nyungwe National Park. The trip starts and end at Kigali International Park.

Day 1: Kigali Airport – Akagera National Park

On arriving at Kigali Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver.  Visit Gisozi Genocide Memorial Museum and then transfer to Akagera National Park. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge or Ruzizi Tented Camp.

Day 2: Morning Game drive – afternoon boat cruise

After breakfast, drive to see a variety of attractions in Akagera National Park.  Expect to see lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants among others. Dinner and overnight at your previous accommodation. Afternoon boat cruise to see water-loving mammals like crocodiles, hippos and so on.

Day 3: Full day Game drive in Akagera National Park

Spend a full day exploring the park to see many attractions. Visit different trails

Day 4: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, drive to the home of mountain Gorillas in Rwanda (VNP). The journey will reward you the views of lowlands and upland among other attraction. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, Virunga Lodge, Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge, Muhabura Hotel.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in VNP – Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

After breakfast, the guide will transfer you to the park headquarters (with some snacks and water) for briefing about mountain gorilla trekking.  Led by the park rangers, go on a trek through the forest to search for the mountain gorillas. The time taken while searching for the humble giant apes is unpredictable however; it ranges between 2-5 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. Upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you have one hour to watch them in the wild – take photos, films. You will find the guide at the starting point of the trek.

You will have lunch at the lodge and later travel to the Nyungwe National Park. Overnight at Emeraude Kivu Resort, Nyungwe Top View Hotel or Gisakura Guest House.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest

After breakfast, the guide will drive you to Nyungwe Park briefing point. Go on a guided walk within the Nyungwe forest, that is home to not only chimpanzees but also other 12 primate species. The hike is amazing with sightings of unique flora and fauna within the forest. After the trek, you will have lunch. In the afternoon, take a canopy walk tour to see a variety of attraction and birds up close within the forest. Return to the lodge and relax. Overnight at your previous accommodation.

Day 7: Travel Back to Kigali

After breakfast, travel back to Kigali. You will have convenient stops for lunch and some sightseeing. Drop off at the hotel in Kigali.
