The trip will start from Kigali Airport due to the shorter distance (3-4hrs drive from Kigali city to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park). It can also start from a nearby town like Kabale or Kisoro.

The 2 days Uganda Gorilla trekking safari can also start from Entebbe Airport by air to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip based on where visitors want to trek Gorillas from. If it’s the Buhoma sector, Kihihi Airstrip is suitable but Kisoro Airstrip is better for visitors wanting to trek Gorillas in Rushaga, Ruhija, or Nkuringo sectors.

2-Day Uganda Gorilla Trek allows visitors to spend one night in the park. From Kisoro town, Kabale town, Entebbe Airport, or Kigali Airport will enable the visitors to reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Dinner and overnight at Chameleon Hill Lodge, Lake Mutanda Resort, Mahogany Spring Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Camp, or any other safari Lodge.

The next, visitors wake up early for breakfast and report to the park headquarters for briefing about the “Dos” and “Don’ts” during gorilla trekking. When you meet gorillas “the dream to come true” follow the guidelines from the ranger guides, take photos, and enjoy the views for a maximum of 1hr before returning to your safari Lodge for lunch and return to the airport – departure.
