It’s one of the most attractive safaris in Uganda. It’s a unique tour because it enables tourists to come close to rare chimpanzees, Mountain Gorillas, and Tree climbing lions.

Day 1: Entebbe Airport – Transfer to Kibale National Park

On arriving at Entebbe Airport, you will be welcomed by our professional safari guide/ driver. He will brief you and then transfer to Kibale National Park. Kibale is famous for protecting 13 primate species but the chimpanzee species dominates all. The journey will also reward the tourists the views of different attractions on the way. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale, Chimpudu Lodge, Turaco Tree Tops Lodge, or Mountain of the Moon Hotel.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park

Breakfast is followed by a briefing at the park headquarters and thereafter, tourists are grouped into 8 to meet different troops of chimpanzees in Kibale National Park.  The walk to search for chimpanzees will also reward the views of other attractions like birds, tree species, vegetation, and water streams among others. When you meet chimpanzees set your cameras ready to capture photos/ films, be entertained by the chimps at their daily activities, and so on. Return to your accommodation for lunch, relax, and wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha sector

Ishasha sector is famous for protecting the tree-climbing lions. This is a must-visit destination in Uganda. You will wake up for breakfast and then transfer to the Ishasha sector via the mountains of the moon and Queen Elizabeth National Park.

While in the Ishasha sector, you will search for tree-climbing lions with the help of a ranger guide from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA). Thereafter, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, Lake Mutanda Resort, or Rushaga Gorilla Lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest

Early breakfast. Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about Gorilla Trekking. Walk into the jungles to search for mountain Gorillas. The search may take between 3-5hrs and you will be given 1 hour to see, chat, and take photos/ films of the mountain Gorillas and other attractions in the forest. After the trek have lunch. Dinner and overnight at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, Lake Mutanda Resort, or Rushaga Gorilla Lodge.

Day 5: Drive back to Entebbe Airport – Departure

You will leave Bwindi with great memorials – drive to Entebbe Airport with a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photos.  Continue with the journey to the Airport for evening departure.
